Missu 4 in 1 Gel Polish kit

How to create your salon quality manicure at home with Missu. Missu’s 4 in 1 gel polish is a primer, base coat, gel colour and top coat ALL in one! it is super easy to use, here is my step by step guide:

* I do use false nails but the steps are the same.

1- Start by pushing back your cuticles gently, using the cuticle pusher (comes in your kit)

2- File your nail to the desired shape.

3- Lightly buff your  nail to remove shine.

4- Pick your nail colour! (I went for Gemma) Then apply a thin coat of 4 in 1 gel polish. (I like to do my fingers separate to my thumb)

5- Cure your nails under the Lamp for 45 second.

6- apply a second coat of polish.

7- Apply Missu Cuticle Oil around your cuticle area.

8- And you’re done…now just admire your fresh claws!!

Doing it the Forever way

Recently I was invited by the lovely Singlesara7 to her Launch night ‘Doing it the Forever way’ for her new business venture Forever Living. It was held in the Blind Cobbler in Omagh and we were greeted with bubbling prosecco and cocktails on arrival. There was a fine spread of nibbles covering healthy options to something sweet and savoury nibbles.

Off course knowing Sara there were some great games to get everyone involved in and warmed up (I was feeling very lucky and won two) obviously there was a fine array of the forever living aloe vera products and Sara went over her favourites and explained the benefits of each one.

I re-purchased my Forever aloe vera gel, (that is a firm staple in my morning routine) and was chuffed to bits because I won a lip balm! I like to keep their lip balms handy at ALL times, they’re super handy for cracked or dry lips. especially in this changing weather.

For more info about the benefits of aloe vera, give Sara’s facebook page a like here Forever with Sara

INGLOT NC Palett

Aaaagh on Wednesday 16th August I had the most amazing time at the INGLOT x Niamh Cleary palette launch in Dublin.
I was invited down by Jane Swarbrigg (she knows who I am. Waaaat) I was sooo thrilled to be invited, as you all know I’m a big INGLOT addict!! And just loooove their eyeshadows so much.

What an eventful journey to Dublin it was, we drove to Portadown and got the train! The sun was splitting the trees when we left Portadown, while on the train I realised I forgot to change into my sparkly shoes before I got on the train. (Sad face) I had planned to do the finishing touches to my makeup on the train, I realised I brought two different eyelashes instead of one pair. (Duuuu Jude) I forgot eyeliner! The list goes on (I also had horrible coffee on the train)

As the train was Coming into Dublin we noticed the dark grey sky and the pelting rain and we laughed nervously, because we were most definitely dressed for the summer weather! And we got SOAKED!! But we were determined not to let it ruin our spirits! We hadn’t a clue how to get from the train station to the venue, eventually we got a bus, and another bus, and nearly died on the second one! It was an interesting ride! We did however meet a lovely lady at the bus stop who told us exactly where to get off the bus!

We arrived at the venue House, and it just looked so cool before we even got in, we walked through a lovely bar/lounge area. Quickly found the toilets to try and salvage our hair and makeup!

We got checked in and received our goodie bags (eeeeee) then we were shown the bar where there was a row of gorgeous looking pink gin and tonics sitting waiting for us!

There had sweeties all around (result) and a candy floss stand! (No guesses where I was found) They also had a team doing hair braids and curls (thankfully I got my hair re curled) and henna by Hanna (I’m obsessed with it) and off course the lovely girlies from INGLOT were on hand showcasing the makeup and sparkles!

I had such a good time, I felt like it was such a relaxed evening and everyone’s style was amazing. I do love checking out everyone’s outfits. And the highlight of my night was definitely meeting Jane and Niamh they’re so friendly and took the tome to talk to everyone!

I knew Niamh’s palette was going to be good but I was more than impressed when I seen it! The colours are an amazing mix and there’s two new colours exclusive to INGLOT Ireland. I was pretty sure it was going to include pinks or purples. And the two shimmery colours I’m obsessed with them and have used them as highlighter!

The pallet retails at €40.00 I think that’s aground £35ish… here’s the link to buy it (I think you should) INGLOT NC Palette

Our First Book Club

August 30th 2018

Never did I imagine I would be so buzzing after reading a book!
Well at the ripe old age of 29, I’ve only gone and done it! I’ve joined a book club! And I friggin love it!

It’s not just about the books and the reading! It’s about the meeting up with a few girlies and getting a chatter and a fun night out of the house!

Our first book club was held at Julie’s house! And boy was she the hostess with the mostest! On arrival we were all gifted with the cutest little hand made bookmarks by Claire!

Julie had put on a fine spread for us all! She had nibbles, Christ’s and dips and a lovely sparkling prosecco with little strawberries in them (very instagramable).., then she brought out the coffee and cakes! And i’m just obsessed with this little bookmark made by Claire! its sooo cute and such a thoughtfull little gift!

So basically we all have read the book and meet up to discuss. And as you would expect a room of 6 girlies we off course get a little off track! But we did definitely
discuss the book!! It’s quite interesting to see everybody’s views of the book.

Our next book is Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

Bumble & Blue

Friday August 31st (I know I’m super late on the ball) Bumble & Blue opened it’s doors in the linen green in Moygashel

I first heard of Bumble and Blue when I entered a competition on instagram, and I knew from then on that I was going to be a fan of their candles, the quirky names and interesting mix of scents had me intrigued from the get go! I was indeed lucky enough to win the competition and bagged myself one of Gemma’s amazing candles. This one was called ‘unplugged’ and I new for a fact I was going to like it, as it had a soft relaxing scent, and is quite literally the best partner for a nice relaxing evening curled up on the sofa with a book after a hard days work.

Gemma had thought of quite literally over her opening days, she had even organised a kiddies day on the Saturday.
When we arrived the shop was buzzing with excitement and we were met with a lovey chilled out atmosphere and the most amazing scents coming from not only her wonderful candles but the refreshments too. We were treated to a lovely mug of coffee and off course little cupcakes.

We then had a good chance to check the place out. and get a little sniff at every. single. candle. there was on offer! I eventually, after much deliberating went for the ‘Coffee time’ candle from the Bespoke Bumble Range.coffee  time candle
And it literally smells like you’ve walked into a coffee shop every time you light it now. I just love it!! as well as candles Gemma also has hand made sprays, soaps and fragrance oils.

You literally never know what you will find at Bumble & Blue, not only is it thee place to be or all things home fragrance but there is a whole host of workshops and events from slime making, weaving workshops, health and wellbeing days to my favourite (and most definitely on my Christmas list) her candle making workshops, where you get to make your very own candle with the help of Mrs Bumble & Blue herself.

candle, tea light and wax melt workshop

The atmosphere in the shop is so relaxing and welcoming you could just stay there all day (and I don’t think she would mind either)

I highly recommend you get yourself down and pay Gemma a visit in Bumble & Blue….. Tell her Jude sent you

Rebecca Jewellery and Bejeweled @ Soul

C4CAB126-95E0-424E-B39B-70A97D5FDF3AOn Sunday 14th October myself and a few fellow bloggers were invited by the lovely ladies from Bejewelled @ Soul in Strabane to see and hear all about an amazing Italian jewellery brand called Rebecca. I didn’t know much about the brand, but after having a little nosey around online I realised I did recognise some of their pieces. and from what I saw I knew I was going to love everything.

we were met on arrival with some Rebeccabubbly in the most beautiful tea room I have ever been in. it was literally the most instagramable place I’ve been to in a long time. So obviously we took full advantage of this!!

After taking plenty of photos and mingling we were then invited upstairs where we were treated to a wonderful Italian feast! while hearing all about the amazing pieces from Rebecca and a little more about the brand and it’s history, and the best part it was finished off with some yummy Italian ice-cream.

We then went downstairs into Bejeweled @ Soul and picked out a piece for ourselves. I went for one of the initial necklaces from the ‘My World’ collection. and I just love it so much. I love how you can personalise it exactly the way you want.

I also got to have a good look around Bejewelled @ Soul and I was blown away by just how much they had to offer. As well as amazing jewellery they have a brilliant selection of scarves, bags and shoes and I most definitely cant wait to get back up again as I have DSC00712my eye on a gorgeous Katie Luxton Bag (and candle)
