Why Norwex 2.0

If you know me you know I love all things Norwex (I have blogged about it before) as well as having a party or two before I also regulary have them on my social media. Well the other day I was about to place an order with my consultant when I got a txt from her all about her online parties. well that’s just perfect I thought.

1- I’ll get my washing powder.

2- I’ll not have to leave the house.

3- I’ll not even have to clean it.

4- I’ll not have to make you all tea and coffee (I really don’t mind that part) and watch you pop your cups willy nilly all over the place without using a coaster!

5- I will most definitely be in my Pyjamas, and if you’re coming you should be too!!

Anyway I was just going to share the blog from October 2019 (you can read it here…..) but I was re reading it and there was so much more I wanted to say. Because not only am I still using all my cloths, I’ve fallen in love with some new favourites and I’m only now just thinking about needing washing powder!

Here is the link to the catalogue if you just want to skip through all this waffle and look at the prices!! But read on if you’re interested in more of my opinions and my new favourites! I still love the Basic Package with the Enviro Cloth and Window Cloth

1- In my last blog I told you all I was going to order the washing powder (if you’re searching it it’s actually called Laundry Detergent), well I did. and I fully intended on keeping it until Emily was born. well I just couldn’t resist! I started to use it in October 2019 it is now June 2020! So One 1KG bag of Norwex Laundry Detergent is still going strong! at Β£23.99 divided by 7 months (starting in November) that’s really cost me less than Β£3.43 per month but realistically probably much less because there’s loads left, I just panic when I see things are going to need ordered soon and I HATE the thought of running out (do you know how many spare coffees I have in the house)

2- I also told you I was ordering the Baby Body Packs I’ve got two packs (plus some extras that were won at Leanne’s parties) and I use them everywhere! In my nappy bag, at the changing station, in the bath and at the high chair. Emily has even started grabbing them to chew on for her wee gums, and I don’t mind because I know its not a dirty cloth. I know they’re safe for her to do that with. Obviously if we use one for nappy changes its straight into a wash bag, but if we’re using one at feeding time I just give it a good wash and hang it up to dry for tomorrow.

Emily cleaning up after eating πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

3- I was very lucky to receive the Baby Hooded Towel Set as a baby present! and its just amazing. It’s the first Towel I go to grab when its bath time it’s just so cuddly and soft, what makes it so much better is the amount of uses I get out of it before it needs washed! I’ve just noticed that they’ve changed it it grey…. so maybe I need that one now too! πŸ˜‰

4- The magic Cleaning Paste, basically if your in need of something extra along with your Norwex cloths, this is it! It’s my go to oven cleaner, and believe me when I say there’s no smell and it takes two ticks along with the All-Purpose Kitchen Cloth and the window cloth to have my oven sparkling and gleaming at you! It’s also amazing at bringing old trainers back to life!

5- The Bottle Brush was another great buy! I love it for Emily’s bottles, literally cleaned in seconds and I’m not worrying about leaving any fairy liquid or anything on them before they go into the steriliser. I might pop another Enviro Sleeve onto my list, just because sometimes I’m in a panic to get the one that came with the brush into the washing machine and out and dried before I need it again. There are other Bottle Brush accessories to go with it that I might look into too.

Whats on my list this time? Well apart from the Laundry detergent, and i’ll probably purchase another baby packs. I really really want the mop. My steam mop died a death at the start of lock down and every time I mop my floor I just think how much easier it would be if I had the magic Norwex mop! It’s streaky, it takes way too long to sort out the mop and bucket (I still have one for the ‘dogs room’ and one for the ‘house’) It never dries quick enough, and I hate using floor cleaner now! Obviously I want the sexy Rose Gold one!! I know at Β£89.99 its a bit eye watering, but believe me when I tell you, anyone that has one does not have a bad word to say about it! And not one of them would tell you it wasn’t worth the money! Leanne does a much better job at explaining all its magic powers, but now more so than ever I don’t want to be using silly or nasty chemicals in my house, not to mention my floors. O did I not tell you? literally all you need to use with it is WATER!!! MAGIC!

I hope you enjoyed reading all about my Norwex obsession, click on the underlined text to bring you to the mentioned product! I’d love it if you could join me at the Facebook live to find out more from the expert herself. Just let me know and ill pop you on the party ‘guest list’

Butterfly Twists

I’ve only recently been introduced to the brand that isΒ Butterfly Twists! In a nut shell It’s ‘where style meets comfort’ they believe in comfort as well as style and practicallity. And I don’t know if its because im a new mum, or I’m generally on my feet all day but I’m all about that.

Usually one to buy ballerina flats and either throw them away after a long day of sore feet or once they get wet and go all weird (you know what I mean). After a good clear out of shoes in my wardrobe after having Emily I realised I was left with eitherΒ veryΒ unpractical stilettos, my irregular choice babies or trainers. so something needed to be done. I started looking for sensible/ comfortable and stylish shoes. That I could wear all day in the salon but also pop on along with jeans and a nice top for a bump buddies coffee date (one of the first things I’ll be doing once this lockdown is over!that’s why when I seen these Leopard PrintΒ beauties and I just fell in love.

Not to mention this bright and beautifulΒ Yellow Pair. I just love the attention to detail across all the shoes so far.

So far I’ve been pretty impressed by the brand, and even better you can get 10% off sight wide using code MYBT2020

Happy Shopping

Until next time xoxo OfficialJudeMitch

BIRTHDAY HAUL!! 🎁

Saying as my birthday was coming up, and I was stuck at home with the internet for company (along with my hubby and baby off course) I decided to treat myself to some tech accessories, saying as I’ve all this free time (I haven’t really noticed it tbh) and get back into proper blogging again! I do love a new phone cover too, and I do become obsessed with having one to match different outfits. Anyway a little discount code popped up for Coconut Lane and I clicked it. Not really intending to purchase much just a little nosey at their stuff. But I instantly fell in love with the Abstract Vibes pattern!!! it just drew me in!

When my parcel initially came I opened it up and was so excited, then my hubby asked would I like to save it for my birthday present so I agreed. The worst part was waiting about 10 days maybe more until I could actually put my new covers on!

First I was checking out the Abstract Vibes MacBook Case, because who doesn’t need a jazzy cover to protect your digital BFF? When I finally got all the packaging off (it was packaged and wrapped up very well) I realised I had no clue how to put it on… I did eventually get it sussed after a lot of clicking and confusion, But I’m pretty sure that was a Jude problem. It has a beautiful matte look but soft feel. And knowing that it’s going to protect my laptop from any possible scratches while also standing out and looking pretty sassy makes me happy!

So laptop’s outfit sorted now onto the phone…obviously they have to match… So when I found the Phone Cover to match you know I was gonna click ‘add to cart’ The only regret I have is not opting for the Personalised Version.. but maybe another time or pattern! It is a soft flexible cover which is great because I sometimes find a harder case just doesn’t last me very long!

Well if you know anything about me it’s that I CANNOT leave a shop without buying a notebook! and this was no exception I found this little Notebook to match my Abstract Duo and instantly added it! I think I done pretty well only buying one tbh!!

Then I seen the Abstract Vibes Card Holder, I’ve been on the look out for a while for a small card holder and never really found one I was really dying about. So it was joining the rest of the bunch pronto!! and I’m so glad I did because its even cuter in real life!

They did have a bundle deal with Notebook, phone cover and laptop skin, that I was very tempted to get but I just wasn’t sure if I could trust myself to put the skin on without getting frustrated or making a big mess! Im glad I went for the case for that added protection tho!

The only problem is I want literally everything on the site, but I’m being good(ish) I’ve started a want list… and next on my list is the stay at home wellness bundle.

I hope my ramblings have been entertaining if not useful. And you guys are all staying home and keeping safe!

Deep Clean

The other day I finally bit the bullet and give my makeup brushes a good deep clean. This is a task I have been putting off for far too long. I normally pride myself on having a very rigorous cleaning routine at home, and am normally pretty strict when I have used a brush it goes in the ‘used’ pile (or pot) but lately things have gotten a bit all over the place. A mixture of not leaving the house and therefore not needing makeup on and also pure laziness!!!

So I spent a good portion of my Saturday night sorting, cleaning, conditioning, sterilising and reshaping my makeup brushes…as well as disposing of a few that have seen their best days. then I left them overnight on towels to dry. ready to be organised and placed into their rightful home. I love my My Kit Co Brush Caddy for storing my brushes and keeping them organised on my makeup station, both at home an at work. I could do with another one and at the minute I’m trying to decide between the Big one that I have or the Small one.

But anyway here’s my favourite brush cleaners from Beauty Bay:

I almost always forget about my Beauty Blenders, Probably because they’re so much effort but using this Beauty Blender Liquid Blender Cleanser makes that task so much easier. Simply get your blenders together, dampen with warm water and rub this in. It has a ‘low-sud’ formula so you don’t spend all day rinsing out the bubbles!

I think I should definitely invest in the Sigma Beauty Spa Brush Cleaner to save my poor wee hands from drying out. Instead of swirling the brushes around the palm of my hands this bad boy sticks to the sink with its handy suckers and has a few different ridges for different brushes. It’s probably a bit more hygienic too.

In between deep cleans a quick clean with something like the Cinema Secrets Professional Brush Cleaner is ideal. not only does it dry quickly, It is also super easy to use. Either pop a bit on some kitchen roll and wipe the brush bristles in the solution and then on a towel. Or pop some in a shallow dish and dip your brush bristles in quickly and then clean off on some kitchen roll or a towel.

But for a big deep clean I love using a solid bar like the Juno & Co. Clean up your act Solid Cleansing Bar for my makeup brushes. Simply wet your brush bristles and swirl in the bar, then use your hand (or the Sigma brush cleaner from above) to swirl your brushes around, Rinse, and repeat until you’ve got them bad boys nice and sparkly and clean.

Another thing on my wish list is the Sigma Beauty Dry’n Shape Spa! It’ll definitely save me so much drying space in the future. You can use the barrel for washing and then it has slots to pop your brushes so they take up less room and dry quicker. Win win!!

Happy Cleaning you guys!!

Beauty Bay’s Best Buys

Beauty BayΒ is the go to for all things Beauty and Makeup. Ive picked 5 of my favourites from their website!

First up the EMBRYOLISSEΒ LAIT CREME CONCENTRE NOURISHING MOISTURISER,Β (I don’t know how to pronounce it either. I was so dubious about buying this cream. I bought it when my skin was really annoying me so I was hesitant to spent any more money on a ‘magic cream’. But I’m glad I did. It’s so versatile with uses from Moisturiser, Primer and even make-up remover.

Next we have the bPerfect 10 second medium coconut Self Tanning SprayΒ I’m a big fan of bPerfect (it’s based in Belfast) From their OG the Semi Permanent Brow Kit to their amazing MUA collab Collections. The 10 Second tan is one I have repeatedly bought and still love. If Dark and ultra dark is more up your street they have that covered for you too.

Beauty Bay EYN 42 Colour PaletteΒ is a super fun, and easily blendable eyeshadow palette. It’s Bright and Beautiful and I just love it. But not to worry if you’re more a neutral eyeshadow gal, they have a whole host of different shades in their collection to pick from here.

MYKITCO. My BigBrush BuddyΒ I just love my brush buddy! This has been a lifesaver literally every day from I bought it! It’s ideal for sorting out your brushes into 6 sections and has a super hands strap ideal if you’re a mum and move your makeup brushes about a lot. It also links pretty good sitting on your makeup station.

This bad boy is on my wish list (ok its already in my basket) Project Lip Plump and GlossΒ I Love the idea of having fuller plumper lips but without the commitment. so this is a no brainer from me!

I hope you liked my little Beauty Bay Best Bits for now!

Dorothy Perkins Isolation Shopping

I don’t know about you but lately I’ve been constantly picturing all the post isolation events out and outfits I’m going to be wearing. I have become obsessed with online shopping. while browsing throughΒ Dorothy Perkins I’ve stumbled across some deadly outfits for now and after isolation and I thought I would share my faves with you guys!!

First up is this little number…Β Leopard Print Ruched Dress,Β you know I love a bit of leopard print so what’s not to love with this dress. I love the length and neckline. Something that I always struggle with when buying dresses. and not to worry if leopard prints not for you. It comes in a selection of different colours and patterns.

Next up is this Beauty…Once I spotted it I fell in love with it. I’m picturing it styled with a similar top and denim jacket. I think it’ll be so easily dressed up with some killer heals or dressed down with either flats, trainers or good old flip flops.

I just LOVE a good Jumpsuit, I generally find it quite hard to get one to suit my shape but I just fell in love with this Jump Suit!!Β The colours, the waistband, the neckline and the length! I think it would easily move from summer to autumn pretty easily.

What summer wardrobe is complete with out a killer Maxi Dress. And I may have fallen in love with thisΒ Khaki Green Maxi Dress. It’s another one that could be so easily styled up or casually by switching up some accessories or your shoes.

Off course you cant go anywhere (online) without picking up some loungewear and I fell for theseΒ Khaki Cargo PantsΒ and thisΒ Organic cotton T-Shirt. Makes a change from my black leggings and baggy pyjama tops I’ve been living in lately.

While I was browsing I also picked up some accessories, like theseΒ BeltsΒ that I thought would help change up a few outfits. I also thought that this little Pom pom trim clutch bagΒ screamed summer. And I just can’t go anywhere without buying someΒ Leopard print socks!!Β

I hope this gives you guys some style Inso. i’d love to know what you guys are buying while in isolation.
